In the field of architectural acoustics, white melamine foam will be used; for daily cleaning, pure – white melamine foam is applied; for industrial heat – preservation, gray, ultra – low – density melamine foam is utilized; and there is also a series specifically for LNG cryogenic applications.

Melamine foam is a thermoset foam material made from melamine and formaldehyde through a condensation polymerization reaction. It is characterized by a porous structure, high surface area, and low density. It is also known as “melamine resin foam” or “formaldehyde foam.”

  • Sound Absorption:Its porous structure effectively absorbs mid-to-high-frequency sound waves, making it ideal for building soundproofing and automotive noise reduction.
  • Adsorb-ability:High surface area enables adsorption of oil, stains, and odors, used in cleaning sponges or air filters.
  • Chemical Resistance:Resistant to acids, alkalis, and solvents, suitable for industrial environments.
