The Macau Crown Hotel, featuring a luxurious modern design, applied our melafoam in its interior. Facing Macau’s warm climate (needing thermal insulation), the demand for quiet guest spaces (soundproofing), and strict fire – safety regulations, Melafoam was selected.
Melafoam offers outstanding thermal insulation (low thermal conductivity, cutting AC energy use), superb soundproofing (open – cell structure absorbing sound waves), excellent fire – resistance (self – extinguishing, slow flame spread, low smoke), and easy adaptability to designs. It was installed in the ceiling (fitting curved designs, not affecting lighting) and partitions (between layers for noise reduction and extra insulation).
